Ya’ll Come! IMBA – SORBA Spring Festival and Board of Directors Meeting
Nantahala Outdoor Center, Bryson City, North Carolina

Everyone is invited.  Come join the Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew, the members of the SORBA Board of Directors and the IMBA Regional Advisory Council for a weekend of learning, riding, sharing, and fun at the Nantahala Outdoor Center.

The weekend offers participants the opportunity to learn about maintaining trail in the classroom and on the Tsali Trail.  Share your experiences in mountain bike advocacy and learn about exciting mountain bike projects in the Southeast.  Then ride and enjoy the spectacular trails of western North Carolina.

Registration fees include cover admission to IMBA Trail Care Crew events, lunch and dinner on Saturday, group rides, on-site transportation, and the Saturday night social, sponsored by Oskar Blues – Dale’s Pale Ale.

The Nantahala Outdoor Center is the site host for this mountain biking weekend. NOC offers quiet mountain cabins, simple motel rooms and even “Basecamp,” their version of a bunkhouse. Saturday
On Saturday morning there are two activity tracks for participants:  Track One is for all attendees.   Track Two is for SORBA Board members and IMBA Regional Advisory Coil members (RLAC) only.

Breakfast at River’s Edge, on your own.

Track One:

9:00 – 11:30 A.M.  IMBA Trail Care Crew Presentation, Klienrath Hall
11:30 A.M. Lunch
12:30 P.M. Transportation to Tsali for TCC afternoon on trail class
1:00P.M. on site IMBA TCC Trail Class
4:00  P.M. Transportation to NOC
4:30  P.M. Bike Ride at NOC

Track Two

8:30   A.M. SORBA Board of Directors meeting with IMBA RLAC, location TBA
11:30   A.M. Lunch
12:30 P.M.  Transportation to Tsali
1:00 P.M. on site with IMBA TCC
4:00 P.M. Transportation to NOC
4:30 P.M.  Bike Ride at NOC

Everyone

6:30 – 7:30 P.M. Dinner
