“Ale for the Trail” – Craft Beer Festival, Saturday May 3rd, 2014 – 6pm
Join mountain biking and craft beer enthusiasts in Middle Tennessee for another Ale for the Trail craft beer tasting at 6:00pm on Saturday, May 3rd at Land Rover Nashville. Proceeds benefit local public land trail projects and youth programs. The event features award-winning brews from 14 local and national breweries and prizes donated by cycling industry and local businesses. The donation also includes a souvenir tasting glass, amazing hors d’oeuvres and more.

All good and sincere questions we hear going into a much less dry part of the year. All of us, including hard working trail repair volunteers, hate when we have an opportunity to get on trail, but realize upon unloading the bike that your front wheel or critical part of your gear is….STILL AT THE HOUSE! Our local NICA leadership for TN High School Mountain Biking has invited you to the local premiere of “SingleTrack High”.
Ticket sales benefit the Tennessee League and 100% of the proceeds support our mission of providing safe, quality high school mountain bike programs for student-athletes and teams from public, charter and private schools throughout the state.

Many thanks to all our SORBA member volunteers and sponsors that made Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day a great success. Although it was necessary to reschedule from our original ribbon cutting with Mayor Karl Dean, we had a great turnout and wonderful weather on Sunday Nov. 4th with 40 kids, plus family enjoying the new Cane Ridge Trail.

The Middle TN chapter of the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association has developed a strong relationship with Nashville Davidson Country Metro Parks to create mountain bike trails in multiple parks throughout the county, particularly in areas that have no beginner or intermediate level trails. With Tennessee being one of the 5 worst states in childhood obesity, these new trails can get the active outdoor experience a bit closer to your neighborhood.
