Bike Patrol

What does it take to be a one of IMBA’s National Mountain Bike Patrollers?

It is easier than you think.  If you the rider that is prepared and willing to help out your riding partner or trail stranger when they need to repair a flat tire?  Or perhaps help is needed to communicate an emergency or trail repair on the trail YOU ride on most often?

Just check us out and click here for more details!

Our local patrollers have logged 100′s of volunteer hours and have a few stories to tell.  In most cases it is no more than offering trail information or how to get involved in trail stewardship with IMBA-SORBA Middle TN.  We have run across some hikers that were lost and some riders that need a basic mechanical repair.  All in all, it is fun and rewarding.  Our Patrol’s presents builds great alliances with our land managers and trail patrons.  Building community relations is deep in the core of our culture.
